CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CSI for short) is an American crime drama created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It follows a team of Crime Scene Investigators using physical evidence to solve grisly murders - and inspired a lot - most of - other police procedurals using this format. It has two spin-offs (CSI: Miami and CSI: NY) which were also long-running and popular, but not *quite* as much as the original - five time winner of the 'most watched show in the world' title.

In March 2013 it was renewed for a 14th season, which does not yet have a UK airdate.
