'Dexter' is an American drama series featuring Michael C. Hall ('Six Feet Under') as Dexter Morgan, a blood spatter analyst for a fictional Miami Police department, who leads a secret life as a serial killer.  The first season was based on 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter' by Jeff Lindsay (later seasons are unrelated to the books).

Season 8 of Dexter will start airing in America at the end of June, and in the UK a week later, on Sunday 7th July on Fox at 9pm.  It will be the final season. (sob!)
